Edo Decides: Check out Unofficial results from Edo state election

 Edo state citizens troops out today to decide their their Governor

19 candidates are competing for the governorship ticket, however many believe it is a two horse race between Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the Peoples Democratic Party. Edo state has a sum of 1,925,105 registered voters; 192 Registration Areas (RAs); 2,627 Polling Units (PUs); and 4,011 Voting Points (VPs). A sum of 25,000 cops were sent over the state to guarantee peace and security during the post, while 44 observer groups authorized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)as election monitors In most voting unit, reporters, and photograph journalist observed the election were tranquil and INEC authorities were seen setting up polling ballot boxes at different polling unit in Benin city as at time as 7:45 am. The voting has been closed in most part of the state and informal results have begun streaming in.
